In 2010, the St.Margarethen Opera Festival stages a unique production of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart´s masterpiece The Magic Flute. St Margarethen is today one of the leading opera festivals in Europe, located only 60 km from Bratislava in the historic Roman quarry offering audience a unique atmosphere amidst the natural beauty of its impressive stone formations.
