Slovak Rome, the best Spa Town Piešťany and the Region of Plum Hamlets

A visit to the town Trnava called the Slovak Rome because of its many churches and church buildings. We will take a walk in the old town to visit the baroque architecture treasure, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, a unique university area from the 17 cent. and to have a look at best preserved city walls in Slovakia. Afterwards we enjoy a walk in a charming spa town – Piešťany, taste healing mineral water and typical spa waffles. After lunch a drive through picturesque hamlets region with the traditional folk architecture. Stop at the memorial of M. R. Štefanik the sight of the European cultural heritage. Visit to a Farmer´s house – folk museum to savour the countryside atmosphere of the old times and sample a local plum brandy and traditional pie.
